Soapbox Privacy

Your voice never leaves your phone.

Soapbox records and transcribes your practice talks entirely on your device using Apple's on-device speech recognition. Audio is analyzed in the moment and never saved — not on your phone, not on any server. Transcripts, scores, and streaks are stored only on your device. There is no account and no analytics.

One exception, and it's opt-in: if you subscribe to Soapbox Plus and tap "Get coach feedback," the text transcript of that talk (never audio) is sent to our server, forwarded to an AI model for coaching feedback, and immediately discarded. We do not store transcripts and cannot identify who sent them.

On devices where Apple's on-device speech recognition is unavailable, Apple may process audio for transcription per Apple's own privacy terms; Soapbox shows which mode is active.

Purchases are processed by Apple; we never see payment details.

Deleting the app deletes everything.
