- Advertising
- Ritual7 displays banner advertising supplied by Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK). Advertising supports the app's free features.
- To serve and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (where you have granted permission), your IP address, ad interaction data, and device information. This data flows directly from the SDK to Google; we never see it and receive only aggregate, anonymous revenue reporting.
- On first launch, iOS asks whether the app may track you (App Tracking Transparency). Choosing "Ask App Not to Track" withholds your advertising identifier and you receive non-personalised ads instead. No feature is restricted either way, and you can change your answer at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a Google User Messaging Platform consent form is shown before personalised ads are served. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy & Terms.
Data Storage and Security
Local Storage
Most of your data is stored locally on your device. Workout history and preferences are stored in your device's local storage. Data is encrypted using iOS standard encryption.
HealthKit Data
HealthKit data is stored by Apple Health on your device. We do not have access to your HealthKit data beyond what you explicitly grant permission for. You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Third-Party Services
The third-party components in Ritual7 are Google AdMob (serves and measures the advertising described above) and Google User Messaging Platform (the consent form for the EEA, UK and Switzerland). Apple HealthKit, when you enable it, is governed by Apple's own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Google acts as an independent controller of the advertising data it collects through its SDK, under its own privacy policy. Beyond that, we may share only anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you personally.
Your Rights and Choices
HealthKit Permissions
- You can enable or disable HealthKit integration in iOS Settings
- You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time
- Revoking permissions will stop future data sharing but won't delete existing HealthKit data
Data Deletion
- You can delete individual workout sessions
- You can reset all app data
- Deleting the app will remove all local data
HealthKit Integration
HealthKit integration is completely optional. We only access HealthKit data with your explicit permission. You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time. We do not store HealthKit data on our servers.
Children's Privacy
Ritual7 is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy and updating the "Last Updated" date.
Your privacy is important to us. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about our data practices.
