Can I customise my focus and break intervals?
Yes. Choose a preset such as Classic (25/5), Deep Work (45/15) or Short Sprints (15/3), or set your own focus, short break and long break durations. Presets live in Settings.
Why does Focus Flow show ads, and how do I stop personalised ones?
Focus Flow is free and advertising pays for its development. On first launch iOS asks whether the app may track you. Choose "Ask App Not to Track" and you will see non-personalised ads instead, with no loss of features. You can change this any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland a separate consent form appears, and you can revisit it from the privacy options in the app's settings.
What are the ambient sounds, and do they need a download?
No download. Focus Flow generates white, pink and brown noise plus rain and ocean surf on the device itself, so they work offline and add nothing to the app's size. Pick one in Settings, and it plays for the duration of your focus session.
Where is my data stored, and how do I delete it?
Everything — sessions, streaks, statistics and preferences — is stored on your device only. There is no account and no cloud copy. Deleting the app deletes all of it permanently.
My statistics look wrong or empty. What should I check?
Statistics are built from completed sessions, so a session you cancelled partway will not appear. Open the Stats tab to see your full history, streaks and trends. If figures still look wrong, email support with your device model and what you expected to see.
How do long breaks work?
After four completed focus sessions you get a longer break, the length of which depends on your preset. This is the standard rhythm of the Pomodoro technique and helps prevent fatigue across a full working day.
Can I start a session without opening the app?
Yes. Add the Focus Flow widget to your Home Screen and tapping it launches the app straight into a new session.
Does Focus Flow work offline?
Completely. Timers, ambient sounds, statistics and presets all run without a network connection. Only the advertising requires one.
