timbre keeps the sound of the people and places you love. It is built so that nothing you record ever leaves your phone.
Nothing. timbre has no account, no sign-in, and no server. Your recordings, transcripts, colors, people, and places live only in the app's private storage on your device.
They stay on your phone. Transcription and sound understanding happen entirely on-device using Apple's frameworks. Audio and text are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. There is no "us" to send them to.
timbre has no iCloud sync and does not use your location. It never asks for either. The only way a recording leaves your phone is if you export it yourself.
None. timbre contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking of any kind. No third-party code touches your voice.
Settings → Delete everything removes every recording and its data immediately and permanently. Deleting the app also removes everything, because there is nowhere else for it to be.
timbre is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects no personal information from anyone.
