Replies usually come within 24–48 hours. Including your device model and iOS version makes a problem much faster to solve.
Open the app, pick a spark if you want a prompt, type a line, and save. That is the whole flow — it is meant to take seconds, not minutes.
Tap a spark for a prompt such as "A person who helped me" or "A tiny moment I enjoyed." They exist precisely for the days when nothing comes to mind.
Open Settings in the app, turn on reminders and pick a time. You will need to allow notifications when iOS asks. The reminder is scheduled on your device, so it works with no network connection.
Entries are stored on your device only. There is no account and no cloud copy, which also means deleting the app deletes every entry permanently. If your entries matter to you, export them from time to time.
Settings offers JSON and CSV export for a full backup, and a poster export if you want to share a single favourite note. Both use the standard iOS share sheet, so you choose where the file goes.
The app is free and advertising pays for it. On first launch iOS asks whether the app may track you. Choose "Ask App Not to Track" and you will get non-personalised ads instead, with no loss of features. You can change this any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Saving an entry on a given day continues your streak. Miss a day and it resets — the point is gentle encouragement, not pressure.
Yes. Writing, saving, reminders and export all work with no connection. Only the ads need one.
